The Work You'll Do : A Technical Analyst applies a systematic approach to the development, delivery and maintenance of excel-based tax compliance software. They work with others across the business to understand customer needs and develop high value solutions. They are accountable for the development and testing of Tax Form changes that adhere to the established processes and procedures. Throughout the lifecycle, the Technical Analyst is a consultant to others in their area(s) of expertise and they continually develop skills relevant to their role.
- More specifically you will:_
- Develop and tests Tax Form changes that adhere to established processes and procedures
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Tax Research, Development Manager, and other staff to refine requirements
- Participate on cross functional teams as needed
- Implement and test the monthly unit/integration software updates for changes in tax rates, rules, and tax forms that result in a high quality release
- Responsible for deliverables that meet customer needs, and are maintainable, supportable, and compliant with standards
- Participate in initiatives to improve processes
What We Ask From You :
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering; or similar experience
- No prior experience necessary for this Entry-Level Position
- Has a strong understanding of MS Excel formulas and macros
- Able to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects
- Able to successfully troubleshoot and problem solve with both internal and remote users
- Able to work well individually and within a cross functional team
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks defined by the team
- Interest in learning Microsoft SQL and developing/executing database queries
- Act with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
