Role Description As an IT Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the technical documentation of our systems, applications, and processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure all relevant information is well-documented and easily accessible to internal and external users. You will be responsible for generating documentation that is accessible to any user. This role also requires you to have technical IT knowledge, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Key Responsibilities Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop, update, and manage technical documentation, including system manuals, user guides, process documentation, technical specifications, and release notes.. Collaborate with Teams: Work with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand the necessary technical information. Ensure Consistency and Accuracy: Maintain consistency and accuracy in technical documentation using established templates and standards. Review and Edit: Review and edit technical documents to ensure clarity and coherence. Organize Documentation Library: Keep a well-organized library of all documentation and ensure it is easily accessible to relevant teams. Assist in the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles for internal and external users. Project Participation: Participate in the planning and execution of documentation projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Training and Information Sessions: Conduct training sessions and provide information on documentation and technical processes as needed. Continuous Improvement: Propose continuous improvements and updates to documentation processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in technical documentation or a similar role in the IT field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar. Experience with Slack, Monday, Aircall, Jira, Google WorkSpace and Rippling preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team. Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments is a plus. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools (such as Git) is desirable. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards preferred. PI245346342
